Biography

Bart successfully defended his MSc in Physics at the University of Windsor in 2013 and has continued his research involving ultrasound, signal processing and pattern recognition to develop novel medical devices. In 2016, he became a PhD student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Windsor and was awarded the Mitacs Accelerate internship as well as the Mitacs Globalink where he travelled and worked at the University College London (UK). He is also a recipient of the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and the Fredrick Atkins Graduate Award. His dedication and passion has already resulted in an issued patent, numerous peer-reviewed publications and several conference proceedings.
