Deniz Edwards is the Director of Propel, the student entrepreneurship center at Western University. In this role, she helps student entrepreneurs with their startups while also working to grow the entrepreneurial culture on campus. Prior to Propel, Deniz has spent many years working in the entrepreneurial support ecosystem within London, helping to commercialize innovative technologies and mentoring entrepreneurs. She also ran her own medical device startup, CryoCaddy Inc, obtaining FDA approval and launching the product in the US to generate sales. Deniz completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto and MBA from the Ivey Business School.
