Dean Sas is an entrepreneur, builder, and leader with more than 20+ years of experience across different facets of the healthcare industry, ranging from start-ups, commercialization, finance, corporate & investment banking, and biopharma R&D. Most recently he was the CBO / CFO of Curiato, an early-stage company in the connected care space that was digitizing the bed surface and applying the data to address unmet clinical needs. Prior to that, he was a Director in the Healthcare Corporate Banking group at RBC Capital Markets based in New York where he originated leveraged debt transactions across biopharma, medtech, diagnostic, healthcare services, and payor services sub-sectors.

Dean holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo. He lives in Waterloo, Ontario with his wife, 2 children, and pet betta fish.
